Focus areas

Good assets.
Unrealised potential.
New possibilities.

Three investment interests: acquiring and improving businesses, developing strategic assets, and building cross-border ventures. Each starts with something valuable and a clear opportunity to develop it. These interests are distinct from our advisory services; any investment or ownership would be a separate decision, agreed on its own merits.

01

A new chapter
for a good business.

Preserve what works. Create room to grow.

We are exploring acquisitions of established, profitable businesses, particularly where a founder is considering succession. Loyal customers, proven demand and sound cash generation provide the starting point. Stronger pricing, sales, technology or selective expansion may create room for renewed growth.

The intention is to contribute as an engaged owner and strategic partner, alongside capable day-to-day management. Improvements should protect the founder’s legacy, employee know-how and the qualities customers already trust.

02

A valuable asset.
A wider possibility.

Build the business around the potential.

A brand, technology, product line or specialist capability can have more potential than its current structure allows. We explore the customer need, missing commercial capabilities and partners that could turn an underdeveloped asset into a viable business.

A licence, distribution rights, commercial partnership or minority participation may offer a way to test demand and economics before committing more capital. Access, responsibilities and commercial terms need to be clear from the outset. Further ownership would follow stronger evidence; a successful partnership may remain the right arrangement.

Strategic assets · Commercial validation · Staged commitment
03

Distinctive businesses.
Across new borders.

Help something exceptional travel further.

We explore partnerships, investment and business development between Europe and Japan. Distinctive products, specialist know-how and authentic provenance can give a business a reason to travel. The proposition, channels, pricing and margins still need to work for local customers, after local costs.

A focused commercial test and capable local partners help establish that case, with clear responsibility for selling, delivering and supporting customers. Paid market-development work can stand on its own; a venture partnership or ownership participation would require a separate agreement on contributions, risks and incentives.
